Spirit Level
A spirit level, bubble level, or simply a level, is an instrument designed to indicate whether a surface is horizontal (level) or vertical (plumb).
A spirit level is a tool that helps you gauge whether an object is level. The glass tube in the level is comprised of a liquid or a spirit like ethanol, which in turn indicates the exact reading.
